I have to take back what I said about not doing another large buffalo again. As you may know, I truly appreciate the opportunity that the Custer Stampede Buffalo Art Auction has granted me. So when I was asked a few days ago if I could reconsider doing another large buffalo again from the committee, I could not resist and I said yes!. .. Slide Details

“The rise and fall of General Custer”
On the left side of the buffalo depicts General George Armstrong Custer leading the first official government expedition to the Black Hills, during the summer of 1874. A portrait of Custer overlaid on top of a scene depicting over 100 wagons snaking through Black Hill's Castle Creek Valley during George Custer's expedition searching for a new fort location, and gold.
The right side of the buffalo will depict the Battle of the Little Bighorn, or also known as Custer's Last Stand. The Greasy Grass, was an armed engagement between combined forces of Lakota, Northern Cheyenne and Arapaho people against the 7th Cavalry Regiment of the United States Army. On this fateful day General Armstrong Custer was killed, along with 267 other men.
